Clarion Events North America Announces a New CMO Role

February 28, 2022 (Shelton, CT)  - Clarion Events North America continues to focus on product diversification, connections programs, and innovation and has now created its first-ever chief marketing officer to further support all customer centricity initiatives. The company is elevating EVP Liz Irving to this newly-created position.

Irving has been with Clarion Events since 2016, overseeing event and media marketing, strategy and insights, audience acquisition, digital products, data and analytics. With this new role, she will focus on further driving customer initiatives, product innovation, and technology enablement, with the end goal that Clarion North America is providing best-in-class events and products for current and future customers.

Clarion's focus on connections has been on their recent partnerships with Quartz Events and Consero, which have delivered thousands of business meetings through their bespoke platforms. These new partnerships, along with Clarion's continued focus on digital products - Fire Engineering's/FDIC's Fire Academy Learning Management Platform and the DISTRIBUTECH+ Network and POWERGEN+ Network Community Platforms and opening new doors of opportunity for their customers and a strong business foundation fueled by innovation.
